Course Description
This course prepares students that would like to pursue a career in Information Technology. After completing this course, participants will qualify as technical support specialists to undertake various tasks; from installing software to setting up computer workstations, as well as solve technical IT issues on a day-to-day basis.

Target Audience
Those that would like to pursue a career in IT support services with a minimum of Grade 12 certificate and those that have minimum of one (1) year work experience in the industry and have no formal IT qualifications. This course offers excellent preparation for International certification examinations.

Programme Objectives
The purpose of this qualification is to build a foundation level entry into the field of Computer Science and Information Technology covering basic knowledge needed for further studies in the field of Systems Support at Institutions of Higher Education.

Programme Design
This programme is comprised of 6 modules and classes will be offered three times a week from 17h30 – 20h30 over a period of 3 months
