Course Description

The CCNA v7 curriculum is presented in three modules: Introduction to Networks (ITN), Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials (SRWE), and Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA).

These three modules provide integrated and comprehensive coverage of IT networking topics such as:

• IP routing and switching fundamentals
• Network security and services,
• Network programmability and automation

Target Group(s)
Those that would like to pursue a career in IT Networking with a minimum of grade 12 certificate and those that have minimum of one (1) year work experience in the industry and have no formal IT networking qualification.

Programme Objectives
The purpose of this qualification is to build a foundation level into the field IT network industry.

Entry Requirements
This course is designed for individuals with a minimum of a Grade 11/12 certificate and should have a good command of the English language with basic computer user skills.

Programme Design
This programme is comprised of 3 modules and classes will be offered four time a week from 17h30 – 20h30, over a period of 6 months.

Certification
Certificate of completion from CISCO will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
