The Centre for Enterprise Development mandate is to spearhead short tailor-made training courses, offer accredited industry focused courses, ICT courses, and skills building for small and medium enterprises and undertake business consultation services for industry at the Namibia University of Science and Technology, one of the top tertiary institutes in Namibia. To date the Centre has transferred skills to more than 23,000 participants' countrywide.
The Centre designs tailor-made, in-house programmes for different organisations, partnering with client organisations to develop staff and management capacity. With a full suite of programmes on offer, CED continue to evolved by delivering innovative, ground-breaking, and immersive learning experiences using the latest teaching and learning methodologies. Our instructional and content design strategies are continually evolving to support the needs of modern learners in the digital age.
The Centre’s aim is to change and develop leaders who can transform the future of Africa and raise the values-bar on how business is done on the continent. The learning is therefore relevant to the African concepts that hold the promise of growth and structural transformation, giving students with a deep understanding of the complexities of doing business in Africa within a global context.
Our lecturers are highly qualified academics with almost all of them holding qualifications as well as industry experts, more than any other centre in Namibia.
The main campus is in Windhoek but we also roll out training to the regions across the country.
